What "care" means
A website is not finished the day it goes live. Software updates come out. Security patches need applying. Backups need to exist before you need them. And your business changes: new hours, a new service, a price increase, a photo of the new van.
The care plan is me handling all of that so you never think about it.
What is included
Hosting, on fast infrastructure, with the site kept online and monitored.
Security and updates, applied as they come out, before they become a problem.
Daily backups, kept off the server, so that if anything goes wrong I restore the site from yesterday rather than rebuilding it.
Edits and content changes. Send the new hours, the new price, the photo of the new van, and it is done. There is no hard cap on small changes; reasonable use is the rule, and in practice nobody has ever hit a limit. Adding a whole new page or section is a small project on its own, quoted separately and agreed before it starts.
Priority support. When something is wrong, you go to the front of the line.
Analytics, in plain terms. Not a dashboard with forty charts. A short note on what is working: where visitors come from, what they do, which pages bring in the calls.
How fast
Edits go live within 24 hours of you sending them, usually the same day. If something is broken rather than just outdated, it goes to the front of the line.

It is optional
Every site I build is yours, with your own editing portal, and you can run it yourself for free. The care plan is for owners who would rather not. Choosing it or not choosing it does not change what you own. Custom software is the one exception: a live system has to be hosted and backed up by someone, so its monthly is part of that build. You still own the code either way, and you can take it elsewhere whenever you like.
What happens if you cancel
Nothing bad. The site is yours and always was. I hand over the hosting so it keeps running under your own account, walk you through the editing portal, and you carry on without me. No hostage situations.
Who this is for
Owners whose time is worth more than the plan costs. If you bill $100 an hour and an edit would take you an hour of frustration, the month has paid for itself on the first request.

Common questions
Can I start the plan later, after launch?
Yes. Any time.
Does it cover a site you did not build?
Sometimes. If it is a site I can host and edit cleanly, yes. If it is locked inside a platform I cannot get into, I will say so up front.
What counts as an edit versus a rebuild?
Changing what is on a page is an edit. Adding a whole new section of the site is a small project, and I quote it separately and tell you before starting.
