Online Store

Online stores that sell around the clock.

Your store should take orders while you sleep. I build you a premium, custom online store with a real cart, checkout, and a self-serve admin, so you can add products, change prices, and swap photos yourself, without ever calling a developer.

Custom quote based on your catalog and the features you need.

What's included

Everything you get.

Everything in a full custom website

A real store: products, cart, and checkout

Categories and a smooth buying flow

A self-serve admin you fully control

Edit products, photos, and prices yourself

Built to grow as your catalog grows

Best for

Anyone selling products online who wants a real store they own and run themselves, not a rented template.

What a real store is

A product catalog with photos, prices, variants, and stock. A cart. A checkout that takes a card and confirms the order. An admin where you add a product, change a price, or mark something sold out, without calling anyone.

That sounds obvious. It is not what most "online store" packages give you. Many are a rented template on someone else's platform, with a monthly fee that goes up, a transaction cut on every sale, and terms that say the store is theirs the day you stop paying.

I build you one you own. Custom, on your domain, with the admin in your hands.

What it costs

Most stores land between $2,500 and $5,000. Where you fall in that range depends on the catalog and the features.

A dozen products, one shipping rate, standard card checkout: the low end. Two hundred products with size and color variants, tiered shipping, discount codes, and customer accounts: the high end. I scope it before I quote it, and the quote is flat. No surprises at the end.

Same terms as everything I build: half to start, half on delivery after you have approved it and the store is in your name.

What you can do yourself

Everything day to day. Add products. Upload photos. Change prices. Write descriptions. Run a sale. Mark an item out of stock. See orders. The admin is built for you to use, not for a developer to babysit.

What about Shopify?

Sometimes it is the right call, and I will say so. If you have a large catalog, need the app ecosystem, or want to run it entirely yourself from day one, Shopify is a good tool and I will set it up properly for you. What you give up is ownership: it is their platform, their monthly fee, and their cut of every sale. For most small stores I build custom, on your domain, and you keep all of it. I will tell you which one you are before you spend anything.

Payments

Square by default. It is what I use myself, most local businesses already have an account, and it handles cards, tap-to-pay, and invoicing in one place. If you already run on Stripe, I build to that instead. Shopify stores use Shopify Payments. For businesses that cannot take cards online, I can route orders through a quote-and-invoice flow instead, which is how I built a research-supply store that had to stay off card processors.

How long

Days for a small catalog, longer as the catalog grows. The single biggest factor is your product content: photos, descriptions, prices, variants. A spreadsheet of products and a folder of photos on day one means a store in days. Gathering that as we go means it takes as long as the gathering.

Who this is for

Anyone selling a physical or digital product who wants to keep the margin and own the shop. Merch brands. Makers. A business with a product line alongside its services.

Who it is not for

If you sell one thing occasionally, a payment link on your regular website is cheaper and does the job. I will tell you that rather than sell you a store.

Common questions

Will it handle taxes and shipping?

Yes. Sales tax is configured for where you are required to collect it, and shipping is set up for how you actually ship, whether that is flat rate, by weight, or local pickup.

Can I move it later?

It is your code on your domain. You can take it anywhere.

Do I need the care plan?

No. It is optional. If you want me hosting, backing up, and making edits, it starts at $65 a month. If you would rather run it yourself, you can.

How it works

Simple, start to finish.

1

Send your vision

Send me a notepad with everything you want: features, pages, the look, and examples you like. The more detail, the better.

2

I build it

I turn your notes into a real design and a working build, fast. I refine until it matches what you pictured.

3

You approve

Final review. Nothing launches until you love it, and the balance is due when it does.

4

Launch and own

It goes live on your domain, in your name. Yours to keep.

Let's build it

Ready to get started?

Tell me what you want and I send back a flat quote and a timeline, usually same day. No pressure, just a clear quote.

I take on only a handful of builds at a time, so your project gets my full attention.
