I'm Troy Maus, and I run Maus & Co. out of Austin. I build websites, online stores, and apps for small businesses. Honestly, I do this because I love it. Taking the thing in someone's head and turning it into something real that actually brings them customers never gets old.
Here is what I kept noticing. People knew exactly what they wanted online, but had no good way to get it. The big agencies want five figures and a few months. The cheap monthly deals rent you a site you never really own. And going with a random freelancer is a coin flip, half of them ghost you.
