The situation

A peptide brand needed an online store that could sell research-use compounds without pretending to be a regular shop. That meant three things a normal store does not do. Visitors had to confirm they were of age before seeing anything. Buyers had to attest that they were purchasing for research use, and say what kind of organisation they were. And orders could not run through a standard card checkout, because the category is one most payment processors will not touch. Everything had to feel as serious as the science, and none of it could look like a workaround.

What I built

A single page React storefront with the gates built in rather than bolted on. An age gate before the catalog. A research-use attestation with an organisation type, captured with the order. A product catalog where in-stock items carry real vial photography and every listing shows the trust strip: purity, endotoxin testing, certificate of analysis availability, and lyophilization.

Checkout is quote-to-invoice or card. On the invoice path, the buyer submits an order, the system generates a numbered invoice and emails it as a professional document, and payment is handled from there, including a Bitcoin option with the wallet and QR code on the invoice itself. On the card path, the buyer pays on Tagada's hosted checkout page, so card numbers never touch the site. Either way, a paper trail for every order.

The brand is sage green and matte black throughout, deliberately quiet. Nothing on the site shouts.
