Who they are
Senior personal training. Tammy Browning, occupational therapist of 25 years, senior personal trainer for 8, NASM Certified Senior Fitness Specialist.
The situation
Tammy already had a website and had spent real money on it. It read like something assembled in a word processor. None of the spend showed, and none of her twenty-five years showed either. For a practitioner whose entire offer is trust, a site that looks improvised argues against her before she says a word.
What I built
A new site built around her credentials and the specific problems she solves, with one clear way to get in touch.
The decisions
Credentials go first, not in an About page nobody reads.
Her buyer is often an adult child choosing who to trust with their parent. Twenty-five years as an occupational therapist is the entire decision, so it appears before anything else.
Services named after the fear, not the exercise.
Balance and fall prevention. Pre- and post-surgery conditioning. Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Homebound clients. People do not search "mobility training," they search the thing that frightens them.
One action, and it is Inquire.
No booking widget. This decision gets made in a conversation, often by a family member, and putting a calendar in front of that conversation loses people. The phone number stays visible throughout.
Built for a reader over 65.
Large type, high contrast, generous tap targets, nothing that depends on hovering. The audience is the whole design brief, not an accessibility checkbox at the end.
